Meet the Team
Wendy McCown - Studio Founder
Wendy has been in the hair industry for over 25 years. She went from being a hair stylist, to a salon owner. Now she’s opened the Studios to give other stylists in the area the same opportunity. She believes that success comes from being able to create in your own space.
Emily Brown - Studios Manager
Emily is the point of contact for the studios, she’s passionate about the customer experience and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. Part of her vision is to empower those in the beauty industry by coaching them into having an efficient and an inspiring business model.
Lensi White - Studio Renter
Lensi has been in the hair industry for over 16 years. She started working at her sister’s salon as an assistant at the age of 9. She specializes in luxury extensions, custom colors and precision cuts. It is her goal to ensure that her clients’ hair is perfected beyond their dreams!
Kailee Slocum - Lensi’s Apprentice
Kailee moved to the SWLA area about a year ago and has been living the dream ever since. She's been doing hair for the last 4 years and is always looking to try the newest hair fashion trends!
Lensi has invited to Kailee to stand by her side and further enhance her skills as her "protégé". Since her move, Kailee has had the opportunity to learn from the best of the best in the industry.
From hair extensions to fashion colors, Kailee loves to make each client feel beautiful in their own unique way. One of Kailee’s favorite things about the studios is the customizability of the space that allows her to give clients a most enjoyable experience.
Savannah Demmerelle - Studio Renter
Savannah has been in the industry for 17 years, she is a master stylist with Invisible Bead Extensions. She specializes in creating a healthy extension experience for those struggling with hair loss or breakage. Creating extensions that are truly comfortable and seamless so that her clients can feel their most confident!
Savannah uses her studio to provide her clients with a retreat from the day-to-day and have them leaving her studio uplifted and confident!
Juli Labat - Studio Renter
Juli has been in the industry for 10 years. She focuses on formal creations such as wedding hair and other special occasion styles. She also loves doing custom colors and pixie cuts!
Juli loves having a studio where she is able to customize her schedule and create in her own space!
Sommer Gotte - Studio Renter
Sommer has been in the hair industry for five years now. After enjoying a successful career in the commission salon industry, Sommer decided she was ready to make a change.
Sommer specializes in balayage, lived in colors, and reds. Special occasion makeup is another one of her passions. She loves having the ability and the space to be her own boss!
Lakyn Duhon - Studio Renter
Lakyn has been in the industry for three years now. Along with being an entrepreneur, she is also an extension specialist!
She specializes in balayages, single process colors and bridal hair! She strives everyday to ensure that her clients leave her chair with happy healthy hair!
